Kiboomu iPhone app review

23 Sep

Kiboomu – Kids grow smart with music.

My daughter loves trying out new apps when I download them for her on my iPhone, shes even got a specific page of games just for her. As a parent I enjoy downloading educational games, I know at least she is learning while she is having fun doing something she enjoys.

We recently had the opportunity to try out |Twinkle, twinkle little star” storybook piano app by Kiboomu. Unlike other kids music apps, this one is geared toward preschoolers although I can see children up to the age of 6 enjoying it.

Overall this is a great app for learning how to play music, it can be enjoyed by both parent and child as children always love to show off what they have done to their parents, music making included! Kiboomu also offer more apps, music and more on their website. All educational, all geared toward kids. My daughter really enjoys playing it over and over, she calls it “The Piano App” 😉 Two “Mommy-Daughter” thumbs up on this one! I recommend getting it for your little ones!

About the creators:

Teach. Sing. Learn. Give Back.
That’s what Kiboomu is all about. It’s about creating music and apps that not only entertain children, but educate as well. It’s about encouraging children to be creative through song and play. But, most of all, it’s about filling a child’s day with laughter while expanding their growing minds in a fun and inviting way.

If we can accomplish that, our mission is complete! Kiboomu is a kids’ digital edu-tainment company created by Sherry Segal & Wendy Wiseman. A portion of all sales goes toward feeding kids through the Kiboomu Foundation.

The app features:

  • Friendly, colourful graphics and soft music with vocals and lyrics.
  • play and sing along, which allows your child to  play, record and play back to hear their music.
  •  Karaoke mode which the kids can simply sing along to their fave songs while it plays.
  •  Learn the song shows you exactly that, how to play it on the touch screen piano note by note and lyrics.
  •  Freestyle mode lets your kids use their imagination to create their own songs or practice what they have learned.

Twinkle, twinkle little star preschool storybook piano by Kiboomu can be purchased at the app store and Kiboomu songs at iTunes! For more information on Kiboomu and what they have to offer your little one visit www.kiboomu.com

*Thank you to Sherry Segal and Wendy Wiseman for gifting us with the Kiboomu iPhone app. This review was written voluntarily*
