The Quaker Journey to Wellness

Living in a time when schedules are hectic between the house, the kids, the job and the rest of life we often forget one of the most important aspects of our life and that is living a happy, healthy lifestyle. Eating healthy is a start, but there is much more to it like learning to love oneself, your family and keeping both body and mind healthy.

I can admit there are alot of things our family could improve on when it comes to living a more healthy lifestyle. We have tried a few times to make changes but often end up back in the same place with busy schedules and a family to raise. An example of an improvement I would like my family to see would be to eat healthier and sleep more. Eating three decent meals a day at normal times and going to bed at a decent hour. I think this would benefit everyone when we could all wake up fresh the next day. Would my family of night-hawks be able to make the change? We’ll see, it could be the beginning of our own journey to wellness.

Quaker realizes that wellness is a goal for many families, which is why they’ve invited Lynn from to document her family’s journey as they challenge themselves to make lifestyle improvements.

For the past month Lynn has been blogging over at The Quaker Journey to Wellness blog follows Lynn and her family as they make simple changes in a quest to live a healthier lifestyle with a monthly challenge. Lynn’s first challenge was a fitness challenge, I can’t wait to see what else she will be doing on her journey to wellness.
